If you are going to be in Cape Town during the Halloween week, consider attending the South African Horrorfest, the creepiest Halloween event in the area. The Shadow Realm is the sponsor of this event, and is proud to present its 7th annual festival this year.
The South African Horrorfest is known as "Africa's most exciting Halloween event" and has proven this statement true by the success of past years. The festival will feature classic, rare, and new scary movies and short films from around the world. In addition, there will be a live movie soundtrack performance by the Makabra Ensemble. What's more, the South African Horrorfest will present a short story competition paired with a spooky Halloween costume contest, prizes, giveaways, a night and day market, and much more.
If you are brave enough to face the ghost and ghouls of the event, consider attending any day between October 26 and November 4. The South African Horrorfest will be held at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town and is open to anyone who may be interested.
